ZKIN Yeti Camera Backpack Short Review

ZKIN Camera bags, based out of Hong Kong, was kind enough to send me a blue Yeti backpack for use on my recent trip to Okinawa and Tokyo, Japan.

It's beautifully built, with all the necessary pockets and dividers for accessories and essential travel items. I traveled with a Mamiya 645 Pro with 2 lenses, a Fujifilm X-T1 with battery grip, 3 lenses, a Fujifilm Klasse W, a Nexus 7 Tablet, headphones, spare batteries, about 20 rolls of film, wallet and a small umbrella. I even used the rain cover once while in Yoyogi park as a torrential thunderstorm hammered down, the rain cover worked like a charm.

In the end, I felt the Yeti was a little big to carry on a daily excursion, but perfect to lug all the gear there. I'm looking forward to perhaps trying the smaller Lusca next time!

Had the fortune to run into my friend and talented photographer Hamada Hideaki at Shibuya Station who happened to be literally one train behind us. He also owns a Zkin Yeti bag!
